What is your take on the Civil Service Exams taken in Ancient China. How do they compare with Civil Service tests in our country today?

  1. It helps people with thier careers and jobs. So I guess it is fine if people know what thier careers are by doing it.

  2. In Ancient China the exams were much more harder. It was a written assignment. In America they are to check someones background to work for the government.

  3. Back then they were much more harder and they wouldn't give you the job unless you passed a hard test and the only people that could take the test were the rich people. And like Shelby said if you want a government job today then they check your grades and if you got tickets and stuff like that.

  4. You take the test to see if you should work in government. But in china the test was alot harder. But in the U. S. A. the test are alot easier. They use your grades and tests and records.
